Description: Elegant Spanish hand-knotted carpet with a refined pink and rose field, broad ornamental border and a large classical/Renaissance-inspired central motif, complemented by floral and foliate corner ornaments. The muted palette of rose, pink, ivory, beige and ochre gives the carpet a softly aged and decorative appearance. Its construction and finishing are consistent with traditional Spanish hand-knotting, and the design is characteristic of the Spanish 20th-century revival of historic Renaissance and Baroque carpets. The style can be compared with documented carpets by Miguel Stuyck, although no specific attribution can be confirmed without a signature or provenance.
