Large Pre-Columbian female figurine of the Sinu culture. Terracotta statuette depicting a seated woman, adorned with a nariguera, a broad plastron necklace, and a bracelet on each arm. She wears a traditional beret-shaped headdress. Colombia, Sinu culture, 12th–14th century AD. Height 16.2 cm - Width 10.8 cm Provenance information: Netherlands, D.Z.N. Previously: Koella Private Collection, Zurich, Switzerland, from a private foundation of Ancient Pre-Columbian Cultures, collection from the 1960s formed before UNESCO charter ratification by Switzerland.
