All auctions / Carpets, Rugs & Textile / Procession of the East: Narrative Elegance on Organic...
This refined fabric in certified organic cotton with Oeko-Tex is a true decorative work of art, capable of telling a world soaked in charm, history, and symbolism. The design depicts a lush and dynamic scene: riders on horseback and on elephant backs, nobles and musicians, dancers, monumental architectures, and exotic vegetation weave together in a visual narrative rich in detail and suggestion. The quality of the fabric is excellent: made of organic cotton, soft to the touch and durable, it is ideal for those seeking sustainable furnishing solutions without sacrificing style and visual impact. The workmanship adds depth and movement, highlighting the precision of the design and the richness of the scenes. Perfect for scenic curtains, upholstery, decorative cushions, screens, or bed headboards. It can become the protagonist in spaces with an eclectic, classic, or boho chic taste, adding a theatrical and refined note. In many Eastern cultures, horse- or elephant-processions were considered not only a symbol of power but also a propitious ritual act. This type of representation was often handed down in fabrics, true “moving canvases” that decorated ceremonial rooms and noble tents. This fabric evokes that ancient narrative function, reinterpreting it in a contemporary key. A fabric that does not merely decorate but transforms the space into a story to be lived. Measurements: 3.50 x 2.80 meters. ATTENTION! For multiple purchases, pay for only one lot and contact us; we will offer you a discount on the shipping of the other lots. (colour may vary depending on the light and devices on which the photos are viewed) Care and Cleaning: To maintain the beauty and quality of your precious fabric over time, it is important to follow some simple care instructions: Washing: It is recommended to hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Use a mild detergent free of aggressive bleaches to preserve the vibrant colors. Drying: Avoid the dryer to prevent compromising the fabric fibers. Hang the fabric to air dry, avoiding prolonged direct sunlight exposure, which could fade the colors. Ironing: Iron the fabric at a low temperature, preferably with a cotton cloth over it, to avoid direct contact with the iron and keep the fabric surface flawless. Professional cleaning: If used for upholstery or large surfaces, professional dry cleaning is advised for safer, longer-lasting maintenance. By following these simple guidelines, your fabric will maintain its splendor and integrity over time, continuing to enrich your spaces with class and sophistication.
