Provençal Mosaic: Poppies and Lavender - Cristina Stefan

Provençal Mosaic: Poppies and Lavender by Cristina Stefan Painting 20.0 x 16.0 :: ""Provençal Mosaic: Poppies and Lavender"" is a vibrant homage to the splendor of the South of France. This acrylic painting is executed in a technique inspired by pointillism and impressionism where each independent stroke of color comes together to form a scene full of light and movement. The foreground is dominated by the intensity of red poppies contrasting beautifully with the deep mauve of the lavender fields in the midground. A narrow path leads the eye toward a small stone house and the iconic cypress trees of Provence. The bold segmented use of color gives the canvas a joyful energy and rich texture evoking the warmth and fragrance of summer. This painting is ideal for bringing a touch of sunshine vibrant colors and abstract landscape to a contemporary interior. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Impressionist Subject: Landscape Width: 20.0 Height: 16.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 8 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
