Qing Dynasty Ghau Box with Gilt-Bronze Arhat Riding a Lion Description: A finely crafted Qing Dynasty Ghau box accompanied by a gilt-bronze figure of an Arhat riding a lion. The Ghau box is finely decorated with substantial gilding and can be opened. The front is embellished with auspicious decorative motifs. The Arhat is finely cast and richly gilt, depicted riding a lion and adorned with inset gemstones. The bottom of the Arhat remains originally sealed, while the back bears a Chinese inscription. The gilded surfaces display natural wear and areas of wear to the gilding consistent with age. The Ghau box and Arhat figure are presented as a complete set and remain in overall good condition.
