R. Amato (XX) - Paysage de campagne au clocher et bord de rivière

Charming and luminous oil painting on panel depicting a bucolic countryside landscape. The classical composition features a tranquil water feature in the foreground, bordered by slender trees evoking cypresses, guiding the eye toward a traditional farmhouse and its church with a typical bell tower. Key points for collectors: - Signature: Hand-signed work "R. Amato" at the bottom right. - High-quality historical support: Painted on an artist's panel from the famous British house "George Rowney & Co. - Birchmore Board - London, England", bearing its original stamp clearly legible on the back. - Period framing: Superb original wooden frame richly stucced and gilded, adorned with acanthus-leaf friezes and classic beaded motifs. Condition (see detail photos): The work has remained in a beautiful state of freshness with soft, well-preserved colors. A normal patina of age is visible on the surface (slight punctiform traces of age). The gilded wooden frame is "as is"—solid and highly decorative, showing small wear to the gilding and light stucco cracks that enhance its authentic vintage charm. Ultra-secure professional shipping: The painting will be protected in a custom high-density rigid packaging to guarantee flawless reception.
