A hand-polished natural work of art — this splendid specimen features a flame-shaped sculpture made of hematoid quartz, catching the eye with its warm, vibrant tones, ranging from deep gold to rust orange. Hematoid inclusions, rich in iron oxides, create evocative and dynamic patterns within the transparent crystal matrix, giving the piece extraordinary visual depth. The glossy finish enhances the mineral's intrinsic brilliance and highlights its structural complexity. Hematoid quartz is a variety of quartz containing hematite or limonite inclusions, which give it colors from yellow to orange and red. These inclusions not only aesthetically enrich the mineral, but also bear witness to the geological processes that formed it. Each shade and each vein tell an ancient story of pressure, temperature, and chemical interaction, making each specimen a one-of-a-kind in nature. The flame shape, achieved through skilled handcrafting, transforms this mineral into a true work of art. The sinuous curves and smooth surfaces reflect light in a fascinating way, creating chiaroscuro effects that further highlight the internal inclusions. This sculpture is not just a collectible piece, but a striking decorative element capable of infusing energy and warmth into any environment. Originating from Madagascar, an island renowned for its richness and variety of minerals, this hematoid quartz embodies the primordial beauty of the earth. Madagascar is indeed a crucial deposit for a wide range of minerals and gems, and its hematoid quartz is particularly valued for its quality and the intensity of its coloration. An object that unites the wonder of nature with artisanal craftsmanship, perfect for enriching a collection or as a centerpiece in a modern Wunderkammer. The condition is excellent. Any irregularities, small internal fractures, or color variations should be considered part of the mineral's natural formation and not defects.
