RAPHAËL MONNET - JADE REMAINS - XXL

Unique and original work painted by hand by Raphaël Monnet Raphaël Monnet develops contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes material, rhythm and movement. He approaches the canvas as a space for experimentation. The paint is projected, accumulated and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts cross paths, certain areas densify while others allow the background to breathe. His process does not rely on a pre-planned image, but on a progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until an balance appears between apparent disorder and pictorial organization. Based in the Léo Varek workshop in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his research around the projection and superposition of colors. His works possess an immediate presence from a distance and reveal, when approached, a multitude of details, nuances and unexpected encounters between pigments. Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of the projections, the distribution of matter and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced identically. Details of the work Technique: acrylic painting Support: cotton canvas Original work entirely handmade Unique copy Signed on the front Certificate of authenticity included, signed Format and presentation The indicated dimensions correspond to the full size of the canvas. A painted peripheral part is intended to be folded over the sides of the stretcher, without occupying the main composition. Some images show the work in situ to facilitate its projection into an interior. They are created using the ArtStage staging software that makes AI mockups. Proportions may vary slightly depending on the setups. Please refer to the dimensions given in the description to know the real size of the work. The edges are partially painted and allow for a clean finish after mounting. Shipping The work is shipped rolled in a rigid protective packaging, without stretcher or frame. Slight creases may appear upon receipt. This is perfectly normal for a canvas shipped rolled. These marks naturally disappear when the canvas is mounted under tension. For optimal results, it is recommended to have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer. Shipments are made by express carrier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with careful tracking until delivery. Some special destinations may incur additional shipping costs beyond my control. In this case, the buyer will be informed before shipping to adjust the costs if necessary. Without approval of these charges, shipping cannot be carried out. Additional information Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions. Frame and frame not included.
