Super Rare 1927 A.C. Gilbert Erector No. 10 Set housed in its original oak 9 drawer chest. The case retains its "Gilbert Toys - Erector" decal at the right corner and features brass label holders and pulls. Two of the drawer pulls are loose. The drawer labels appear to be original, and there are 3 missing labels. Most of the drawers are neatly arranged with an impressive assortment of Erector components, including gears, pulleys, wheels, boiler shells, base plates, and girders, along with several reproduction red part boxes marked "Erector - The World's Greatest Toy." The smaller brown square boxes also appear to be reproduction. There is no Manual of Instructions" present. An extraordinary early presentation example of one of Gilbert's largest pre-Depression sets, seldom encountered in this format. The set has not been collated for completeness and is sold with what is shown. Measures approximately 20.25 x 15.5 x 10.5 inches. NOTE: This item is extremely heavy, shipping may require this item to be professionally crated and/or handled by a 3rd party shipper. Pickup arrangements is the best option.
