rare and enormous jaw of the Zambezi shark Taxidermy full...

The bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) or Zambezi shark is a common shark of the Carcharhinidae family, found in warm, shallow waters of coastal areas and rivers around the world. It is known especially for its unpredictable and often aggressive behavior. Since it is frequently encountered in shallow waters, it is considered the most dangerous shark species to humans, and together with the tiger shark and the great white, it is one of the three species to which the highest number of attacks on humans has been attributed. In addition to its generally more excitable nature compared with the great white and the tiger shark, the bull shark owes its danger also to the power of its bite, stronger than that of any other shark species, and indeed stronger than that of any other fish species currently in existence. It has been estimated around 1350 psi (about 613 kg), i.e., twice that exerted by a large great white. Bull sharks are large and chunky. Females are larger than males. They can reach 3.5 meters in length and a weight of 230 kilograms. Bull sharks are heavier than other Carcharhinids of the same length. The coloration is gray on the back and white on the belly. The second dorsal fin is smaller than the first. Bull sharks are generally solitary predators, but occasionally they hunt in pairs. They are often seen patrolling shallow waters. Specimens that appear tranquil can suddenly accelerate and become extremely aggressive. Mascella squalo LEUCAS, ben conservata e di dimensioni XL ( L 44,5 cm, P 13 cm, H 44 cm). Sempre più rara, sempre più ricercata. Assolutamente da vincere. Buona asta.
