Rare Atelier Camille Le Tallec Porcelain Electric Table Fountain

Atelier Camille Le Tallec, Paris. Hand-painted porcelain table fountain in the Oiseaux de Paradis pattern, circa 1960-1970. A wide circular basin surmounts a cylindrical pedestal and tiered base. Polychrome decoration depicts exotic birds, butterflies, and floral motifs against a stippled gilt ground. The pedestal is finished with a white trellis border and gilt metal components. The underside bears hand-inscribed marks in red and blue script, including cipher and artist initials mc. Accompanied by a 1957 letter on The Higbee Company letterhead providing historical context, noting that an identical model of this rare fountain was originally gifted to Grace Kelly for her wedding by the Le Tallec company.
