Ca. 3000 - 2000 BC. A bronze jar with a short cylindrical neck and broad globular body on a flattened base. The shoulder is encircled by a diagonal hatched band beneath a row of stylised animals. The main body is decorated in relief with a frieze of larger animals. A second hatched band encircles the lower body. Size: 130mm x 130mm; Weight: 950g Provenance: Private UK collection; formerly H.G. collection; acquired from A. Kotllar, Paris, French art market, 1970�2006. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
