Rare Junghans “Pneuora” Pneumatic master clock, model type 197, circa 1930s, 9” silvered dial with Arabic numerals signed 'Pneuora', in a walnut veneered case with glazed apertures for the dial and pendulum bob, 22.5" high, 12.5" wide, depth 4.5" (the dial has been removed to display the movement) ** This model was offered for sale in the Junghans 1930 catalogue under the brand name of “Elektronom” ** This master clock has a compressor lamp capacity to drive six one minute pneumatic slaves as well as operate its own remontoire ** From the David Read Collection
