Descriptio Monk in prayer. Important wooden bust of a monk, his head bowed and covered by a wide hood, his arms crossed over his chest. The face, with its sharp, introspective features, and the sobriety of the ample folds of his garments lend the figure an austere and meditative expression. Carved wood with a dark brown patina.
