All auctions / Ethnographical / Rare TEKE anthropomorphic authority fly-swatter - DR Congo
- Origin: Democratic Republic of the Congo - Tribe name: TEKE - Material: Wood - Animal hair - Copper - Dimensions (mm): 402x39x44 - Weight (grams): 72 - Shipping method: Colissimo + Insurance ===The original certificate will be sent by email to the purchaser=== It is rare to see TEKE fly-whisks in the image of ancestors, as are the statues and fetishes of this same ethnic group. Beautiful honey patina. Beautiful sculpture. The ventral magical charge is no longer present. IMPORTANT FOR U.S. BIDDERS - Due to the significant restrictions imposed by U.S. Customs on imports (high customs fees for both the sender and the recipient, as well as extensive administrative paperwork), I regret to inform potential bidders from the United States that I will no longer be able to ship items purchased at auction to them. Thank you to our American friends for refraining from bidding on my items until relations between our governments return to normal.
