Rare Vintage Powder Compact / 'Zone Belge' (Belgian Occupation Zone Germany) - about 1950 - Gorgeous Condition! Description: For sale: An exceptionally well-preserved vintage metal powder compact from the early 1950s. This historical item is a beautiful souvenir from the Allied occupation period of Germany after World War II. The top features a deep blue enamel finish with a detailed, gold-colored relief map of the Zone Belge (the Belgian occupation zone), including various historical place names and the iconic Belgian lion shield. The back is decorated with an elegant, classic guilloche diamond pattern. Condition and details: * Exterior: The blue enamel and gold-colored metal are in very neat, glossy condition with minimal signs of aging. * Interior: In very good condition. The original mirror is completely clear and shows no foxing or degradation. * Completeness: A unique item!
