Red Atlas Dreams – a unique handmade Berber artwork from Morocco A special and characterful hand-woven Berber rug, entirely made from 100% wool, wool on wool. With its generous size of 300 × 198 cm and its strong red base, this is a rug that doesn't just dress a space, but immediately grabs attention. The rug is characterized by an expressive composition of geometric symbols, diamonds, abstract figures and organic shapes. In the center there is a large central diamond, surrounded by smaller symbols and rhythmic motifs. The irregularities and variations in the patterns are part of the handmade character and give the rug its authentic look. The red color forms the soul of the rug and gives a sense of warmth, strength and liveliness. The accents in natural cream, black, pink, beige and earthy tones provide contrast and make the whole particularly rich and vibrant. The geometric motifs are typical of the visual language of Moroccan Berber weavers. Such symbols are traditionally often associated with themes such as protection, family, fertility, nature and the journey of life. The exact meaning, however, differs per tribe, region and weaver. Thus each authentic Berber rug tells its own story. What makes this piece extra attractive is the combination of a traditional Berber technique with an almost modern, abstract composition. The result is a rug that fits beautifully in both a characterful classic interior and a modern, minimalist or boho interior. The thick, handmade wool gives the rug a warm, soft and tactile appearance. No two handmade Berber rugs are identical: small variations in color, shape, weave structure and motifs are part of its authenticity and charm. Details * Moroccan Berber rug * Handmade / handwoven * Wool on wool – 100% wool * Rich red with pink, cream, black and earthy accents * Traditional geometric Berber motifs * 300 × 198 cm * Unique piece A rug for those who are not looking for something ordinary, but for something with character, history and a story. This is not mass-produced: the charm lies in the craftsmanship, the imperfections and the unique composition. A true eye-catcher that adds warmth and personality to an interior.
