An absolute jewel for any discerning conchology collection. Cymbiola rutila (also known as Aulicina rutila or blood-red volut snail) belongs to the family Volutidae and captivates with its massive, heavy shell structure and its distinctive, spiny shoulder. This exceptional specimen features a stunning color pattern of intense reddish-brown spots on a cream-orange background. With a gigantic length of 130 mm, it is an absolute rarity on the collector’s market. The outer lip is perfectly preserved, and the natural enamel coating exhibits a mirror-like gloss. Origin and collection data This authentic specimen has excellent scientific value thanks to complete provenance: Locality: Zamboanga, Mindanao, Philippines (known for particularly color-intensive volutes).
