Relief, Geboorte van Jezus - 31.5 cm - Composite

Panel depicting the birth of Jesus in the stable. Originally it is an oak-carved panel, but this is a cast replica. Seen are Jesus in the manger, Mary, Joseph, the donkey and the ox. On either side, two shepherds bring gifts. The original composition was probably a panel from a cabinet and is estimated to be around 1750. The date of this replica is unknown; the material is a kind of composite, but it is a very good cast replica. Many details visible in the distinctive grain. Beautiful to hang on the wall during the Christmas season or simply as a special decoration. Size 31.5 cm high, 59.5 cm wide and 4 cm deep. On the back there is a hanging point. The nativity scene is well packed and shipped with tracking. PLEASE NOTE: NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE EUROPE.
