He was the pupil of great masters such as Léon Bonnat, Gustave Boulanger and Jules-Élie Delaunay. His talent was recognized very early. A keen observer of nature, his canvases are of very great realism, with a beautiful lively brushwork. His works have been exhibited around the world, from France to New Zealand via Brazil.
