Ricoh, Carena C-600 - Ricoh Auto Zoomstar Movie camera

IT Vintage lot of 2 analog film cameras: Carena C600 (Ser.661006) preserved with protective film and Ricoh Auto Zoomstar (Ser. 10216) with original cases Splendid unique lot for collectors or fans of cinematographic mid-century design. The lot includes two historically significant cameras, excellently preserved, with their respective cases: 1. Carena C600 Super 8: Made in Japan, Serial Number 661006. Supplied with an integrated pistol grip and the original black Carena case. The film chamber is in excellent cosmetic condition. A note of particular interest for collectors: the blue area visible on the camera body is the original factory protective film, never removed, applied to protect the underlying metal shell. The small mark visible at the bottom is simply a light scratch on the protective plastic film, not damage to the camera. Tested and working: Power supply. The motor and main mechanisms are active and functional when tested with batteries (4 x AA). The battery compartment is perfectly clean and free from oxidation. The accuracy of the internal light meter (CDS cell) and its functionality with real film have not been tested. Dimensions and Weight: 6 x 12 x 21 cm / Weight: 1.04 kg (1.5 kg including the case). 2. Ricoh Auto Zoomstar vintage model (8mm film). The model features a Rikenon Zoom Lens 1:1.8 f=11.5–34.5mm (No.20448). Includes the removable lower grip, manual/automatic selector, original Ricoh lens cap, and the black protective hard case. Tested and working: Fully mechanical operation with manual spring winding (no batteries required to drive the motor). The winding mechanism and the spring motor have been successfully tested and are smooth and fully functional. It has not been tested with virgin film. Dimensions and Weight: 6.5 x 13.5 x 13 cm (without grip) Weight: 1.5 kg (2.1 kg including case). Ricoh Auto Zoomstar Double 8mm film format (Standard 8). The camera battery and film compartments are perfectly clean, as shown in the extensive photo gallery. Both cameras have been tested and are mechanically and electrically functional as described above. However, since they have not been tested with a new roll of film to verify exposure or actual film advancement, they are sold strictly with a “as-is” basis, as precious pieces for collection or display.
