Ridgewood, New Jersey. $5 1929 Ty. 1. Fr. 1800-1. Citizens NB & TC. Charter #11759. PCGS Banknote Choice About Uncirculated 58 PPQ. A handsome note in technical terms that has sustained only a dreadfully light fold. This T1 $5 issued by the Citizens National Bank & Trust Company of Ridgewood (Charter# 11759) represents not only a fine note in technical terms, but also the second title of this institution that originally organized in 1920. That title was nonetheless discarded in 1934, but notes on this bank are still highly desirable despite a population of 72 pieces recorded by the National Bank Note Census. There this example is by far one of the finest that a collector could hope to find and offers much that will undoubtedly inspire the interest of bidders before the end of the bidding process. Estimate: $500 - $700. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
