For sale is this rare original Rimowa grooved aluminium travel suitcase from the 1960s, preserved in remarkably beautiful and fully functional condition. Dimensions: inside: 61 x 35 x 18 cm outside: 63 x 38 x 20 cm What makes this particular example especially fascinating is its extraordinary state of preservation. Considering its age (1960s), the suitcase has survived in surprisingly beautiful condition. The aluminium exterior shows only very minor signs of age and use. The original grey interior is equally impressive: clean and well preserved for its age with only very slight imperfections, fresh and very pleasantly scented. The luggage straps are still present and in good condition. All locks, hinges and moving parts operate smoothly and the original key for the locks is included. Despite its age, this Rimowa remains perfectly usable today thanks to its beautifully preserved and fully functional condition. Its relatively lightweight aluminium construction and compact proportions make it an ideal weekender, cabin-style suitcase or hand-luggage companion, while offering considerably more character than modern luggage. At the same time, its iconic grooved aluminium design also makes it a beautiful decorative industrial design object for your interior. Overall, a wonderfully preserved piece of Rimowa history. (Safely packaged worldwide shipping from Spain) (All product images are real photos, no AI creations or optimizations.) Good luck with your bidding! ...And feel invited to also check out my other current Rimowa offerings.
