This ring dates back to the 1940s/1950s and, given the stamped number (583) of the fineness, it is of Russian origin or the Soviet Union as it was called at the time. Clearly an item never worn, arrived to us intact, without any cosmetic defects. It features a red spinel of about 0.60 carats supported by six very sturdy prongs. Clearly a handmade piece.
