"Poseidon" is a large decorative ceramic panel composed of 12 tiles (4 × 3), forming a composition of about 45 × 60 cm. Inspired by grand Mediterranean décors, Art Nouveau, and Portuguese azulejos, this creation features "Poseidon", god of the sea, surrounded by arabesques and floral motifs. The organic lines, decorative volutes, and deep shades of blue pay homage to the major currents of the decorative arts at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, while offering a contemporary interpretation. Each tile is individually crafted in our workshop in France using a high-definition sublimation process on premium matte-finish ceramic. The pigments are transferred under high temperature and high pressure to achieve a high level of detail, deep colors, and excellent colorfastness over time. Each panel requires about 4 hours of work, from artistic conception to fabrication. This time includes the creation of the décor, colorimetric adjustments, file preparation, individual pressing of the 12 tiles, quality control, and final assembly. Specifications Edition house: Riviera Tiles Title: Poseidon Composition: 12 tiles Dimensions per tile: 15.3 × 15.3 cm Overall dimensions: about 45 × 60 cm Support: premium ceramic Finish: matte Technique: high-definition sublimation under heat press Manufacture: artisanal, individually crafted in France Era: contemporary creation Condition: new Care & maintenance To preserve the artwork’s quality and its colors’ brilliance over time, it is recommended to clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products, solvents, or aggressive detergents that could alter the finish. This creation is water-resistant and is perfectly suitable for damp rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms, or covered and protected patios. For optimal color longevity, avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV rays or to weather. This artwork is intended mainly for indoor use or in sheltered outdoor spaces (covered patio, conservatory, protected terrace, etc.). Authenticity & manufacturing Each panel is manufactured individually in our workshop and can be produced again as part of the Riviera Tiles permanent collection. Because of its artisanal fabrication process and pigment transfer under high temperature, there may be slight variations in hue, saturation, texture, or finish from one piece to another. These characteristics are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not constitute manufacturing defects. They testify to the artisanal nature of each creation and make every panel unique. About Riviera Tiles Riviera Tiles is a French publishing house specializing in the creation of contemporary ceramic decorative panels. Each collection draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, architectural heritage, and major movements in the decorative arts, notably Art Nouveau, to create works that combine artisanal know-how, contemporary innovation, and timeless elegance.
