Estello aux Lavandes “Estello aux Lavandes” is a decorative ceramic composition made up of 12 individual tiles (4 × 3), forming a work of approximately 45 × 60 cm when assembled. The tiles are delivered separately and are neither glued nor mounted on a backing. Each tile is independent, giving the buyer total freedom to choose their installation method. The work can be: - laid directly on a wall, with or without grout depending on the desired appearance; - integrated into a backsplash or a wall decor; - framed; - or fixed on the backing of your choice. Each tile is carefully protected in an individual pouch before being packed for transport to ensure optimal protection. Description of the work This original creation is inspired by the aesthetics of European Art Nouveau and pays homage to the softness of Provençal landscapes. At the center of the composition, a young woman holds a bouquet of lavender, a symbol of serenity, light, and Mediterranean tradition. Her peaceful gaze is surrounded by rich floral ornamentation with sinuous lines, characteristic of Art Nouveau. The blues, ivory, lavender hues and golden tones form a harmonious palette evoking the perfumed fields of southern France. Inspired by the major decorative currents of the late 19th century, this work offers a contemporary interpretation where botanical motifs, arabesques, and the circular composition emphasize timeless elegance. It will naturally find its place in a classic or contemporary interior, bringing a refined, Mediterranean atmosphere. Manufacturing Each tile is individually produced in our workshop in France using a high-definition sublimation process on premium ceramic with a matte finish. The pigments are transferred at high temperature and under high pressure to achieve excellent detail, deep colors, and remarkable long-term stability. Creating a complete composition requires about four hours of work, including the decor creation, color adjustments, file preparation, individual pressing of the twelve tiles, and quality control.
