Estello aux Lavandes « Estello aux Lavandes » is a decorative ceramic composition made up of 12 individual tiles (4 × 3), forming a work of about 45 × 60 cm when assembled. The tiles are delivered separately and are neither glued nor mounted on a backing. Each tile is independent, giving the purchaser complete freedom to choose their installation method. The work can be: - placed directly on a wall, with or without grout depending on the desired look; - integrated into a backsplash or a wall decoration; - framed; - or fixed to the support of your choice. Each tile is carefully protected in an individual pouch before being packed for transport to guarantee optimal protection. Description of the work This original creation draws on the aesthetics of European Art Nouveau and pays homage to the gentle Provençal landscapes. In the center of the composition, a young woman holds a bouquet of lavender, a symbol of serenity, light, and Mediterranean tradition. Her peaceful gaze is surrounded by rich floral ornamentation with sinuous lines, characteristic of Art Nouveau. The blues, ivory, lavender tones and golden nuances form a harmonious palette that evokes the scented fields of southern France. Inspired by the major decorative currents of the late 19th century, this work offers a contemporary interpretation where vegetal motifs, arabesques, and the circular composition emphasize timeless elegance. It will naturally fit into a classic or contemporary interior, bringing a refined and Mediterranean atmosphere. Manufacturing Each tile is individually produced in our workshop in France using a high-definition sublimation process on premium matte finish ceramic. The pigments are transferred at high temperature and under high pressure to achieve excellent detail, deep colors, and remarkable long-term stability. Creating a complete composition requires about four hours of work, including the decor creation, colorimetric adjustments, file preparation, individual pressing of the twelve tiles, and quality control. Because of the manufacturing process and the high-temperature pigment transfer, slight variations in shade, saturation or texture may appear from one piece to another.
