Parthénope Decorative ceramic composition — 12 tiles — Riviera Tiles Our tiles are printed by sublimation: the pigments penetrate directly into the tile glaze, unlike UV-printed surface coatings. Result: a perfectly smooth finish, no ink relief, with deep colors and excellent humidity resistance. “Parthénope” is a contemporary decorative composition consisting of 12 individual ceramic tiles, arranged 4 × 3 to form a set of about 45 × 60 cm once assembled. The tiles are shipped separately, unglued and not mounted on a backing. Each tile remains independent, allowing the purchaser to choose how to install it: wall mounting with or without joints, integration into a backsplash or wall decor, framing or fixing to the backing of their choice. ## Description This original creation draws on the aesthetics of European Art Nouveau and the Mediterranean and Provençal universe. It is a contemporary creation published by Riviera Tiles and not an antique work. ## Technique and manufacturing The decor is produced by high-definition sublimation on ceramic tiles. Each tile is prepared and pressed individually in our workshop in France. The sublimation process involves transferring the printed design onto the specially treated ceramic surface using a hot press, under high temperature and strong pressure, allowing the inks to penetrate the tile. This method yields a more precise decor and deeper colors while maintaining the matte finish of the ceramic. The preparation of a composition includes, in particular, the creation and adaptation of the visual, colorimetric adjustments, file preparation, the hand transfer by sublimation of the twelve tiles, and their inspection before shipment. ## Characteristics Publisher: Riviera Tiles Title: Parthénope Era: contemporary creation Composition: 12 tiles (4 × 3) Dimensions of a tile: about 15.3 × 15.3 cm Overall dimensions: about 45 × 60 cm Support: ceramic Finish: matte Decor: high-definition sublimation print Process: transfer under hot press Manufacture: tiles sublimated individually in our workshop in France Condition: new Assembly: tiles delivered separately, without backing, without glue and without joints ## Colors and manufacturing variations The photographs presented aim to faithfully reproduce the appearance of the composition. However, color perception may vary slightly depending on the screen used, its brightness and settings. The sublimation process and the individual fabrication of the tiles can also lead to slight variations in tint, saturation, contrast or texture between two productions or between the digital preview and the final product. These light variations are inherent to the ceramic transfer process and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Installation Since the tiles are delivered separately, installation and choice of backing are left to the buyer’s discretion. Before definitive installation, it is recommended to lay out all 12 tiles flat to check their arrangement and the general alignment of the pattern. Depending on the chosen installation, slight gaps or joints may alter the final dimensions of the set and create small visual interruptions between the different parts of the decor. Care and maintenance Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products, solvents and harsh detergents that could damage the finish. The tiles are suitable for interior decoration, kitchens and bathrooms. They can also be used in an outdoor space that is covered and protected from weather and direct sun. To keep colors durable, avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV and weather. ## Edition and authenticity This composition can be reproduced within the Riviera Tiles collection. Each copy is nevertheless prepared and sublimated individually, which may give rise to the slight manufacturing variations mentioned above. ## Packaging The 12 tiles are individually packaged and protected before packaging to limit the risks of impact and rubbing during transport. ## About Riviera Tiles Riviera Tiles is a French publishing house specializing in creating contemporary decorative compositions on ceramic. Its collections are inspired in particular by the Mediterranean, European architectural heritage and the great movements of decorative arts to offer contemporary creations for interior decoration.
