Robert picault - Wall plate (4) - Majolica

This ceramic plate with a stylized fish design resembles the mid-century classic style of Vallauris artisanal pottery (such as the works of Robert Picault or Pablo Picasso) and contemporary Mediterranean-inspired collections. • Origin / Style: Hand-painted on white ceramic with green strokes and ochre/yellow tones, very characteristic of Vallauris pottery from the 1950s or lines of artisanal Mediterranean tableware. • Visual detail: The edge features a green fillet painted, and in the center an elongated fish with schematic dorsal and pectoral fins.
