Set against a black lacquered background, the dial is decorated with an elaborate pattern of brilliant-cut diamonds and contrasting champagne-coloured chronograph registers, creating the distinctive graphic composition from which the watch takes its nickname. Diamond-set hour markers further enhance the effect, making this one of the most immediately recognisable gem-set Daytona configurations of the modern era. The dial is framed by a bezel entirely set with baguette-cut diamonds, providing a more architectural contrast to the brilliant-cut stones used across the dial.
