STUNNING Vintage Rolex "Pyramid" Box Ref. 67.00.3 Wooden Interior / Dark Brown Printed Lid with Outer Green Stripe Box – For Daytona Paul Newman & Vintage Sports – 1960s Description / Description: Splendid, exceptional and extremely rare collection set consisting of the original Rolex box reference 67.00.3 with a "pyramid" (trapezoidal) design and its unique white inner counterbox with green stripe (Green Stripe), dating back to the 1960s. This specific lot stands out for belonging to the earliest, pure and highly desirable variant among collectors: the inside of the lid (under the lid) is in visible fine wood (lacking the fabric lining of later productions) and bears the famous inscription "Création Genève Rolex" stamp-embossed in dark brown, a distinctive exclusive feature of this very first series. This set represents the perfect, period-accurate and absolutely valuable accessory to complete the most important and sought-after vintage Rolex chronographs and sports models globally, including the famous Daytona "Paul Newman" (ref. 6239, 6241, 6262), Submariner (5512, 5513, 6538) and GMT-Master (1675). • Brand: Rolex • Internal reference: 67.00.3 (engraved on the bottom of the box) • Period: About 1960 - 1969 • Materials: Exterior in green faux leather/leather, inner structure in fine wood. • Special feature: Under the natural wooden inner lid with the famous inscription Création Genève Rolex impressed with dark brown screen-printed embossing (NO fabric, NO gold stamping). • Counterbox: Included, original model "White with Green Stripe". The outer box still has part of the original sticker with the reference illegible. Conditions (Condition): The set remains in exceptionally vintage conditions, decidedly above average for items of this era. The wooden structure is perfectly solid, the hinge works magnificently and the closure is precise as expected for the era (not snap-lock). The green leather exterior has retained excellent shine. The dark brown inscription printed under the lid is sharp, perfectly intact and fully legible. The counterbox shows [specify if there are small marks, tears or if it is equally excellent]. Please carefully view the high-resolution photo gallery, which is an integral part of the description. Tracked and insured worldwide shipping with professional rigid and protective packaging.
