Rollei Filters (Bay III) Twin lens reflex camera (TLR)

Set of 3 vintage Rollei filters (Bay III) – Light Yellow, Medium Yellow & Orange – with original leather cases. Beautiful set of three original vintage Rollei (Franke & Heidecke) filters, manufactured in Germany. These specific filters have an outer diameter of 46 mm, which means they belong to the sought-after and rarer Bayonet III (Bay III) system. This size is exclusively designed for the high-end, professional Rolleiflex TLR cameras with a fast f/2.8 lens (such as the legendary Rolleiflex 2.8 C, D, E and F with Planar or Xenotar lenses). Contents of the lot Rollei Yellow-Light: Light yellow filter. Ideal for mild contrast enhancement and subtle skies in black-and-white photography. Rollei Yellow-Medium: Medium yellow filter. The standard filter for landscapes; it nicely brings out clouds and yields a naturally appearing green. Rollei-Orange: Orange filter. Delivers dramatic and strong contrast; makes blue skies very dark and cuts through atmospheric haze powerfully. Features and Condition Compatibility: Suitable for all Rolleiflex cameras with a Bay III (Bay 3) bayonet (including Rolleiflex 2.8 models and Tele-Rolleiflex). Optical state: The glass of all three filters is in nice, usable condition. As clearly visible in the backlit detail photos, the original coating remains fully intact. No fungus present. Under direct light there are some minimal signs of use on the glass surface (see detail photos). Cosmetic state: The metal filter rims are in neat, vintage condition with clear, deep-black engravings (FRANKE & HEIDECKE / GERMANY). Each filter features the recognizable red Rollei logo (R). Accessories: The filters are supplied with their three accompanying original brown leather storage cases with the Rollei-logo embossed. The cases close securely. See the extensive photo series for an exact impression of the condition of these filters. The photos are an explicit part of the description. The set is carefully packed and insured for shipping.
