Ca. AD 200 - 400. A large mosaic panel decorated with a repeating arrangement of circular floral motifs, interconnected by continuous curvilinear bands. Each circular compartment encloses a stylised vegetal sprig with slender stems and pointed leaves, rendered in contrasting tones of green, red and ochre. Small diamond-shaped ornaments occupy the spaces between the circular elements, creating a balanced and symmetrical composition. The decoration is executed in tesserae of cream, brown, reddish-pink and muted green, with darker outlines defining the individual motifs. A narrow geometric border frames the entire composition.
