Rosario Di Fazio (1892-1958) - Scorcio urbano autunnale con figure

Fascinating oil on panel painting by the renowned Palermo-born painter Rosario Di Fazio (1892–1958). The work depicts one of his most celebrated and sought-after subjects: an atmospheric tree-lined city avenue animated by small figures under autumn light, rendered with a refined technique of Impressionist origin. The depiction of the wet street and the rarefied atmosphere are typical of the artist’s finest production.
