Roskopf Patent gentlemen's pocket watch in exceptionally good, collectible condition. This specimen dates from circa 1906–1920 and bears the original brand markings and the star logo on both the case and the movement. The inner cuvette is finely engraved with the awards won at the time, including the Médaille d'Or Genève 1896 and the Diplôme d'Honneur Milan 1906. On the inside of the back cover is the serial number 93546. The optical condition of the watch is excellent. The original white enamel dial is completely intact, with no hairlines or edge chips, and features black Roman numerals, a red 24-hour index, and a subsidiary seconds at the 6 o’clock position. The hands are elegantly shaped and gold-colored. The nickel/stainless steel case shows minimal wear; all engravings and factory symbols are still sharp and clearly legible. The mechanical pin-anchored (lever) movement is also in very good condition and functions perfectly. The watch starts running immediately after winding and keeps accurate time. The balance bridge is marked with the regulation indicator Avance/Retard. This object constitutes a high-quality and representative addition for the serious collector of historical Swiss timepieces. Shipped by registered mail with insurance.
