Royal Bayreuth Bavaria Porcelain Hunter and Hounds Footed Vase

Royal Bayreuth porcelain cabinet vase in a stylized Art Nouveau tripod form, featuring a polychrome transfer-ware scene with hand-painted enhancements depicting a hunter in 18th-century attire accompanied by hunting dogs in a wooded landscape. The vessel is constructed with a bulbous body, a narrow neck with two scrolled handle tabs, and a flared, ruffled rim. The upper section and rim are finished in an iridescent luster glaze with gilded accents along the molded edges and rim. The underside of the base features a blue printed mark consisting of two lions flanking a crowned shield, with Royal Bayreuth above and a banner reading PRIV. 1794 BAVARIA below.
