A Royal Doulton large character jug titled "The Lawyer." The piece is modeled as a stylized bust wearing a white periwig and black robes with a white cravat, and features a handle formed as a curled quill pen. The rear base includes the title "The Lawyer" in raised, glazed lettering. On the underside is a printed black factory mark consisting of a lion standing atop a crown over a circular emblem containing the words "ROYAL DOULTON" and "ENGLAND." It is further marked "The Lawyer," D. 6498, COPR 1958, and "DOULTON & CO LIMITED." Dimensions: 6.5"W x 7"H Weight: 1.5 lbs Condition Request Condition Report Good.
