Royal Naval Reserve Officer’s Sword. A good Edwardian example with an 80.25 cm slightly curved fullered blade, etched with scrolling foliage, a crowned Royal Arms and a crowned fouled anchor, with a regulation gilt gothic hilt with folding section scabbard lock, incorporating an Edwardian crowned ‘R.N.R.’, a fouled anchor, and a bold lion's head pommel, with a ribbed white fish skin grip with three bands of wire, two wires straight, the centre wire twisted, with a regulation sword knot contained within its engraved brass mounted black leather scabbard, good service worn condition (2) £220-£280.
