RTT 56A – ATEA - Analogue telephone - Bakelite, Metal, Copper

An antique RTT 56A desk telephone, a Belgian rotary-dial model dating from the second half of the 1950s. The marking “RTT-56 A” is clearly present underneath the device. This model was intended for the network of the Belgian Régie des Télégraphes et Téléphones. It has a heavy black case, a matching handset, a rotary dial with black numerals on a light background, as well as its old wiring. A fine example of professional telecommunications equipment from the mid-20th century, sought after for collection, industrial decoration, or the history of telephony. State vintage with signs of wear, scuffs and visible marks.
