Ruby pearl necklace adorned with a Templar Cross. A symbol of faith, wisdom, and chivalry. This necklace bears the emblematic insignia of the Knights Templar, adorned with the pattee cross and endless knots—a powerful talisman of honor, bravery, and fidelity, mounted on ruby faceted pearls. At the heart of medieval legends, the Order of the Temple evokes an exceptional brotherhood devoted to defending sanctuaries and guarding sacred mysteries. At the center of this cross, the circular medallion bears the Latin motto Sigillum Militum Xpisti surrounding the red pattee cross on a pristine background, a historic mark of devoted chivalry and uncompromising courage. The arms of the cross are enhanced by Celtic interlace whose continuous knots symbolize fraternal alliance and eternal fidelity to one’s oath. This engraving contrasts with the blazing sparkle of ruby facets, whose purple hue evokes sacred passion, the ardor of the heart, and the nobility of the highest ranks. Worn close to the skin, this jewel transmits to its wearer the steadfastness of mind and the dignity of great orders of knighthood. It imparts a constant determination in the face of challenges, reminding of the value of moral righteousness and guiding its wearer with assurance and authority. The Pattee Cross and the Temple Insignia: The Knights’ Oath attributed to the Templars in the 12th century by Pope Eugene III, the red pattee cross symbolizes absolute courage and the will to prevail light over injustice. The circular Latin inscription Sigillum Militum Xpisti (“Knights of Christ”) recalls the moral and spiritual authority of a monastic and military order whose aura still fascinates today. The Sacred Interlaces: The Knot of Brotherhood and Constancy The interlace motifs engraved on the cross branches are inspired by medieval sacred arts. Without beginning or end, these continuous knots represent the unwavering solidarity among brothers-in-arms, perseverance in the face of obstacles, and a vigilance that never falters. The Ruby: The Gem of Kings and the Fire of the Heart Considered since antiquity and the Middle Ages the queen of precious stones, ruby is closely linked to royalty, victory, and vitality. Knights and dignitaries endowed it with the power to preserve moral ardor, ward off dark thoughts, and instill unwavering audacity in decisive moments. Its faceted glow catches every beam of light to give the necklace a remarkable presence. The clichés were taken under LED lighting using dedicated photographic equipment to accurately reproduce the details, reliefs, and nuances of the object. Some precious and semi-precious stones may undergo traditional treatments intended to enhance their color or transparency. No specific gemological examination was performed on this piece.
