Rudyard Kipling; Pierre Falké - Le Livre de la Jungle - 1934

Rudyard Kipling — The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book - Set of two books. Fine pair of two volumes from the collection The Literary Glories, published by Éditions du Nord in Brussels in 1934. Translation by L. Fabulet and R. d’Humières, with remarkable color wood engravings by Pierre Falké. The illustrations, at times full of movement, at times more mysterious, give this edition a true charm of an art book. The two volumes are old and show signs of use. The illustrations are clearly visible in the photos. Dimensions together: approximately 15.5 cm in depth × 21 cm in height × 5 cm in width.
