S. Ferranti (XIX-XX), Da Guardi - Capriccio veneziano - NO RESERVE

Painting signed S. Ferranti in the bottom right as shown in the photo, oil on Masonite, sold with a frame without protective glass. This is a landscape view with buildings and people in nineteenth-century attire. The work is in good structural condition and measures 39x61 cm, executed on Masonite board. Regarding the coloring, potential buyers are asked to pay attention to the photographs, as the board used as support is visible; while this adds a certain charm to the overall piece, it may not appeal to everyone. The artist's handiwork is evident and should be observed with care. The frame is intact but not original, and the painting references models from the early 1900s.

Estimate:£251.19
