Sagrasse (1966) - Get out

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome-plating. The turning point of his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Sagrasse - Get out resina - Hand-signed 2021 Technique: resin Dimensions: 25x25x25 cm Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed. Edition: limited edition 100 ex. - White and gold The artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped with courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From artisan to signature on the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how life experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, the irony and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe engages closely with other giants on the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without using detergents, but only a soft cloth.
