Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marchean artist whose life roots itself in artisanal mastery. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chromium plating. The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always nurtured. What for decades had been “only” a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his know-how as a craftsman into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Title: Love colors Technique: resin Dimensions: 34x12x24. Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-engraved signature. Edition: green 999ex The work will be carefully packaged and shipped by courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notably, he has appeared at the Contemporary Art Exhibition “Arte Venezia” in 2025, collaborated with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and had his works included in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to a signature name on the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifelong experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society reflects itself: pop, shining, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly within the trajectory of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe speaks closely with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handmade work, conceived and entirely produced in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with only a soft cloth, without detergents.
