Sagrasse (1966) - love colors XL

Sagrasse (1966) - love colors XL

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is an Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chrome plating. The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Title - Love colors XL Technique: resin Dimensions: 70 x 30 x 20 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-engraved signature Edition: limited edition 299ex - gold The work will be carefully packaged and shipped by courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notably, he has appeared at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaborated with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and had his works incorporated into the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to sign of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse proves how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society reflects itself: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work sits perfectly within the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the comparison to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene like Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted work, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with no detergents, but only with a soft cloth."
