o reserve price! Rare Saint Laurent Paris 2017 distressed knit sweater featuring a distinctive web-stitched construction. Crafted in chunky ivory knit, the sweater has intentionally irregular openings and reconstructed areas reinforced with contrasting black thread, creating a striking spider-web / mended effect. The technique gives the garment a deconstructed, artisanal character, combining traditional knitwear with Saint Laurent’s distressed aesthetic. An archival 2017 Saint Laurent example is documented under the name “Web Stitched Sweater”, described as having a “web like pattern & construction.” A highly unusual collectible piece from the Saint Laurent Paris era around the transition to Anthony Vaccarello.
