Salvador Dali (1904-1989) - after - Sculpture

A bronze sculpture depicting Don Quixote on horseback, inspired by the work of Salvador Dali (1904-1989). Don Quixote is portrayed with his characteristic lance, mounted on his horse Rocinante. Both rider and horse are modelled in an elongated and stylised manner, giving the sculpture a distinctive surrealist appearance. The bronze has a warm brown patina, complemented by the red finish of Don Quixote’s clothing. Dimensions: 44 x 30 x 8 cm Weight: 3.2 kg Signed: Salvador Dali. Condition: excellent (see images). A characteristic interpretation of Cervantes’ famous literary figure, with clear references to Dali's surrealist style.
