Samson Chinese Export-Style Armorial Fluted Porcelain Vase

An European porcelain armorial fluted vase, of baluster form with lobed body, shaped foot and short faceted neck, decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with floral sprays, flowering branches, foliate motifs and gilt borders. One side centers an armorial crest beneath a coronet, comprising a quartered shield encircled by a blue garter with inscription, flanked by two animal supporters and a ribbon-form motto below reading "FRANGAS NON FLECTES." The opposing side is painted with a central floral bouquet. The underside has a central aperture. Dimensions: 7"W x 14.5"H Weight: 5.3 lbs. Condition Request Condition Report As is.
