Marti, Medaille d'Honneur, Paris, and numbered 3042 57, the embossed gilded brass dial having shaped plaques with black Roman hour numerals and shaped blued-steel hands, the shaped waisted red tortoiseshell Boulle case having brass and contra-brass inlaid decoration and matching side panels, with the glazed door to show the visible pendulum bob, with applied cast-brass mounts and surmounted by a winged putto, height 48cm.
