All auctions / Carpets, Rugs & Textile / San Leucio top quality - Exclusive damask silk with gold...
an elegant and refined damask silk-mixed fabric from the finest San Leucio craftsmanship, ideal for upholstery and curtains in classic, modern, prestigious settings The pattern is dominated by large acanthus leaf ornamental motifs, typical of Baroque and Renaissance styles. The leaves unfold with sinuous, feathery lines, creating a fluid, continuous movement across the surface. The fabric's peculiarity lies in the contrast of weaves typical of damask, with a satin, glossy background that reflects light intensely, while the decorative motifs feature a slightly more matte texture and a raised effect thanks to the silk-blend weave. This play of textures creates a changing effect: the pattern seems to appear and disappear depending on how the light hits the surface. The hand of the fabric feels substantial, structured yet fluid at the same time, making it ideal for prestige upholstery, solemn draperies, ornamental cushions, or for making accessories and gala-table linens. large fabric piece 280 cm x 210 cm - excellent condition comes with a tracking code
